At the heart of our work is a simple truth: we’re fortunate to do something we genuinely love. Our passion for teaching, training, and the responsible exercise of our constitutional rights drives everything we do.

We believe in the Constitution as the foundation of our freedoms, and we uphold the right to life — and the right to protect it. While we always encourage peaceful resolutions, we also recognize that when violence becomes the answer, it’s the only answer. One of the most effective ways to protect life is through the competent and responsible use of modern firearms.

We don’t believe education should be required to exercise a constitutional right — but we firmly believe that learning is the responsible thing to do. That belief is what led to the creation of our company more than 20 years ago.

Our Story

Founded by Jeff L. Gonzales, a U.S. Navy SEAL veteran, our company began with one mission:

“To be a trusted resource for those who wish to not only exercise their constitutional rights, but pursue excellence in the process.”

Over the past two decades, thousands of students have come through our programs. We’ve had the privilege of teaching individuals at every skill level — from first-time shooters to elite professionals.

Jeff’s extensive background in Naval Special Warfare—including multiple global combat deployments—has shaped his approach to instruction. He brings the same discipline, precision, and leadership to the range that defined his service.

Through Trident Concepts, LLC, Jeff pioneered new methods in weapons and tactics instruction, with a focus on:

• Performance-driven standards

• Adult learning principles

• Proven, structured curriculum

His work as a nationally recognized instructor and host of the BulletProof Workshop podcast continues to inspire students, law-enforcement officers, and responsibly armed citizens across the country.
